On this, the last day in my 30's, I wanted to share Rod's birthday present to me. This came a couple weeks ago and of course I was so excited about it I couldn't help but take it out of the box. Let's face it, my birthday this year has been a two-week-long-celebration!
No more pinning things to myself and getting stabbed.
No more putting clothing together on the floor.
No more taking pictures of finished clothing on the floor or from a hanger.
Meet my body double, as I like to call it:
I absolutely love it! It makes me feel like a real seamstress!Thank you to my sweet Rod for once again giving in to my sewing obsession. :)

This makes things so much easier!! How sweet of Rod to think of this~ You will have to promise us this....when your projects are completed, we will have pics of YOU as the model, right?

i must have missed this post. that is awesome you have one of those things. i never knew it had a name. i always thought it was like "half a maniquin" or something. really cool. what a great bday present
