This is old news, but I haven't shown any pictures yet.
About a month and a half ago we finally got a cute little round table for our front room. Sadly, we've been eating on wooden trays since we were married. Any table we've had has always been used for a work space instead of an eating area. And since I'm a believer in traditional meals together as a family, I was hoping this day would finally come.
Since we have a small space, we wanted to use the chairs both for dining and for guests. The only problem was finding a round table short enough to match the height of the chairs (which are much shorter than normal dining chairs).
It took us forever to find one but in the end we're happy with the result. After browsing through Ikea, I found a cute, shorter-height, cafe'-looking, round table. I then added a larger piece of glass to the top (also found at Ikea) for a little extra surface area. I love the way it turned out.

Darling table and chairs. I love the setting. What a fabulous idea to make the cute little table larger, where did you get the glass top from?
You have an IKEA nearby?! Love your new table...beautiful and functional. We ate on a folding card table 6 years before eating on a 'real' table.
I got the glass top at Ikea too (just added it to my post). It worked out great for what we needed.
