Best Valentine's Day Ever!

So I'm a little late posting...but here are a few reasons why this was the BEST Valentine's Day ever!

A love letter from Rod.
It's all I wanted.
It was the sweetest thing I've ever read.
I cried the whole time I read it.
I'll cherish it forever.

Beautiful single red rose.

Symphony bar with toffee and almonds.
It's the little things he notices I like.

Bouncy ball with sparkles inside.
I am crazy for this ball. We saw it in Borders. I know it's a strange thing to love, but what can I say, I love sparkly things. Rod remembered.

He also got me a night light because it's so dark in our room that I either have weird dreams or crash into things. I thought it was sweet.

I gave Rod a card, some jeans and a shirt. I would have added pictures, but they didn't end up fitting right so we had to take them back.

And here's the happy couple...

Oops - the sparkles distracted me

Next, we went to Red Robin to enjoy a burger and shake.
Gourmet Burgers?? How about Greasy and Tasteless. The chocolate shake was divine and I love their fries, but that was about it. The company was much better than the food.:)

I had also made a cheesecake, but we saved it for Sunday since we were full from the tasteless greasy burgers.

Here's my first attempt at making a cheesecake (actually cheesecake pie).
My mom gave me a fabulous recipe for a cheesecake pie, so we wouldn't have a billion pounds of cheesecake. Because trust me, if it's there, I'll eat it until it's gone. It may not be as pretty as a cookbook picture, but it tasted delish!

IT WAS A GREAT VALENTINE'S DAY! :)
