Seattle Highlights

What a great trip to Seattle! It was so wonderful to be with my family. Each one of them brings something special to my life. I hope we get to live there soon!

Although I didn't have my camera with me everywhere I went (I know, shocking), here are some pictured highlights...

Shopping in Seattle

Nordstrom Cafe for lunch
Coloring Easter Eggs and decorating Easter Bunny Cupcakes

Easter

Pike Place

Mmmm can't you smell that fish?!
Beautiful flowers throughout the market
Delicious bread bowl of clam chowder. Perfect for a chilly Seattle afternoon.
We didn't try these, but I loved the old doughnut machine.
Amazing little crepe place
Maltbe Cafe (delicious breakfasts!)

View from West Seattle

Walking down by Lake Washington

Luther Burbank Park (on Mercer Island)

Alki Beach and Pegasus Pizza

Back home to my sweetie (ah, love the straw wrapper ring he made me)

We did so many fun things while I was there and my mom made my favorite treats...oatmeal scotchies (cookies), sour cream lemon pie, danish puff, ham spaghetti and my dad bbq'd hamburgers. Delish!!

Also, when I arrived my mom had placed beautiful fresh daffodils in my room. My favorite. There's nothing like going home.

Wow! What a trip! Family, food, and fun, huh? Those Easter eggs are so darling, not to mention the cute bunny cakes! I loved the pic of you and your nephews by the water and the one of you and your mom at the Nordstrom Cafe...you have your mom's eyes! I've heard of dollar bill rings, but this is the first straw wrapper ring I've ever seen...wow!!
Good to have you back!

You used your time well and went lots of fun places. Looking at Natalie's kids reminds me so much of mine with a beautiful oldest daughter and then 4 younger cute sons. I am so glad you had fun. Someday we will have to be there at the same time and maybe go get a goodin' puddin' or something :)
