In honor of Mother's Day, here is a funny conversation between me and a 2nd grade girl yesterday that cracked me up.
me: are you going to do something special for your mom on Mother's Day?
2nd grader: well, I would make her breakfast in bed, but I don't know how to cook.
me: couldn't your dad help you?
2nd grader: no, on weekends my dad just sits at his computer and does nothing.
Here's to hoping the men in your life get up and do something...and make it special for you! :)

That little girl's comment is so funny. Kids just seem to tell it like it is. Hope you had a nice weekend yourself!
lol. reminds me of when me and jeremy team taught 7 year olds in primary when we were newlyweds. we asked a similar question to our kids on fathers day, and got similar answers. "all dad does is sit in front of tv all day long and doesnt let us watch our shows" and "all mom does is play on computer". hahaha gotta love kids honesty.
