Tolt Suspension Bridge

Saturday we decided to go out and explore a little, but not too far from home, as both Rod and I had Primary lessons to prepare.

Our drive took us out to Carnation, WA, about 15 miles east of Redmond. Carnation is a small town with a 500-foot suspension foot bridge that crosses the Snoqualmie River.

As we were crossing, a strong wind blew through the river channel, which made the bridge sway back and forth. It was still pretty stable though, but made it just a bit tipsey.

After we crossed the bridge we decided to take a walk down a trail that followed the river...although you couldn't see the river from the trail...but it was still a nice walk through the woods.

that bridge is very photo worthy. i would have probably taken at least 100 pics of it. the pic with rod in it is my fave - very cool.
