This weekend we headed east for the Ellensburg Fair and to celebrate Natalie's birthday a little early.
It's always fun to see the animals
And who wouldn't be proud to have a cow named after you? (ha ha - it's actually the name of the owner, but it would have been funny if it was the cow)
At first I thought these were dummies, but after a double-take realized they were just some very tired cowgirls.
And here's our very own Sterling, the human gerbil.
I'd never seen anything like this before. People rolling around on the water in giant bubbles.

When we got back to the ranch, we celebrated Natalie's birthday a couple days early.
The sun flowers are starting to come up at the ranch.
Too bad our weekend was cut short because we had to head back in order to teach our Primary classes...but it was fun while it lasted!P.S. For your viewing/listening pleasure...I love to hear the animals when they talk

natalie's hair looks really good in the birthday cake picture.
