First of all, I almost missed getting my yearly box (boxes, who am I kidding) of Samoas. I went to the grocery store Saturday in search of a Girl Scout and the lady at the table told me it was their last day of selling them until next year. I kind of laughed, thinking she was joking and trying to pull a fast one on me so I'd buy lots of boxes...but she didn't laugh. She was serious. Oh my gosh. I had almost missed my chance to buy Samoas in 2009. Don't even joke about that. So I bought 3 boxes.
Second of all, I spent Saturday with Edward and Bella. I've been waiting to see Twilight again ever since I saw it in theaters and I have to say I liked it even better the 2nd time...okay, and I watched it a 3rd time before it was due...even though I had to fast forward it so it wouldn't be late.
A small recap...

I can't deny it, I am a fan. I know the acting's a little cheesy and it's not the best made film I've ever seen, but I'm hooked. I can't wait for the next movie to come out. And yes, I'll have to buy Twilight to have for my very own.
Other than a lovely weekend of cookies and vampires, not a lot to report...other than the fact that we woke up to a whole lotta snow this morning. Crazy. I'm so ready for spring! AND, Walt and Maren's little baby boy Zander Luke arrived last Monday. We're so happy for them! He's absolutely beautiful.

i can't believe i'm going to put this in writing... on the world wide web, nonetheless... but when we saw this movie in new orleans, i was so pissed i had to see it (b/c i never read the books, and thought it was ridiculous phenomenom), but felt obligated since my ENTIRE family was going to see it. i totally made fun of it during the entire movie, but walking out of the theater i couldn't help but kinda like it and keep thinking about it. i for sure liked it better than i would have ever imagined.
so then, when jeremy was out of town, there was a girls night out to see it at the dollar show. i usually NEVER see movies twice, but desperately need human interaction, so i went to girls night, and ended up LOVING the movie the second time. this time not making fun of it at all, but really getting into it.
now, i'm hooked! i can't wait for the subsequent movies to come out!!!!
Samoa's...yum! I think I even found a copycat recipe...haven't tried it though! Haven't read Twilight, but thoroughly enjoyed the movie...two times!
Haha, the greatest thing happened Saturday night. We went to Target and Walmart Saturday night. You know, the usual fishing pole and other ridiculous impulse purchases. We walked in to Walmart and thought we'd check out Redbox...it had been a while. Then, as we're leaving and shaking our heads about a full cart (we went in for like 4 things), B said, should we get Twilight? It was pretty great. He actually enjoyed it when we saw it in Seattle. Woo hoo. I need to read the 3rd and 4th books. As soon as I can find them for free somewhere.
Me too! i seriously thought I had missed my yearly quota of girl scout cookies. That just CAN'T happen!! :) All my boxes are now gone *JOY*
I pre-ordered TWILIGHT on Amazon.com and it arrived the day it came out. I recommed pre-ordering the next one when it comes out. Beats having to stand in line at Walmart to get it. I too saw it twice in the theater and have since watched it 2 times. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The acting is cheesy and the movie is maybe a A-, but it's so addicting that I just can't get enough of it. I'm currently rereading NEW MOON (because I just can't help myself!) I really need to get a new set of books to read!! haha
Thanks for the card. I really appreciate it. It meant a lot to me and I want you to know that you and Rod are in my thoughts and prayers constantly. You are awesome and I love ya dearly!!!
I'm glad you got a good movie and cookie fix. We went to Seattle for spring break last week and encountered MAJOR snow in both passes coming home. "Spring" break?? Go figure.
