Safe arrival!

You know how the Pillsbury crescent rolls pop when you open the package? (it always scares me and I end up dropping it on the floor)

That was me in my silver Jetta driving from UT to WA. Watch out for the bumps or you'll find your stuff all over the highway.

But I made it safe and sound. Nothing exploded.

Friday I got my WA driver's license without a problem so I'm all ready for my appointment with HR on Monday. I was also reassigned to work at a different school. As luck would have it, it's the school both my nephews attend. Yeah!

I got to eat at one of my FAVORITE sandwich places. Sugee's.

I get their chicken salad sandwich on homemade sourdough with swiss cheese. Oh so good. Their boxed lunches come with a bag of chips, 2 baby dills and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. Love it bad.

This afternoon we're going to a stake activity out by Mt. Si (near North Bend). It's a HUGE activity with pony rides, bouncy things (what do you call them - kids basically jump around in them) and BBQ hamburgers. It will be fun to have family (who lives here) all together.

And yes, that includes me. I live here now. I still can't wrap my head around it. It really does feel like I'm just visiting. Maybe when I start my job on Tuesday it will feel more real. Or maybe it won't be until Rod arrives Wednesday. Or maybe not until we find a permanent place to live...

It rained this morning.

I think it was Seattle's way of welcoming me home. :)

I'm glad you made it safe...and SOUND! It'll start to feel like home when Rod comes, you start your job and you begin setting down your 'roots' Ü
