Hooray for holidays!

Today was so much fun. My mom and I had a day all to ourselves. We went to Seattle and laughed, shopped and ate.

We went to places like Macys, Nordstrom, J Crew, Restoration Hardware, Fireworks and one of my all time favorite stores Anthropologie. They have so many unique things to look at. I love that store. I would live there if they would let me.

The holiday decorations are starting to come out. It makes me excited for this time of year.

We ended the day with one of our favorite sweet treats at Red Mango. The "original" yogurt with mini chocolate chips and slivered almonds (beware the chocolate chips stick in your teeth big time, but it's so worth it).


But even with all the fun, we didn't forget what this day was celebrating and gave our donations to the veterans and wore our poppies proudly!
