It's not Saturday

In the early hours of the morning I rolled over and had a peaceful thought wash over me. It's Saturday.

And then my brain began calculating how that could be true and p.s. it's only Tuesday. Why do some weeks feel like they're going on forever and only one day has gone by?

Anywho, yesterday was my day at work to be in charge of a big activity with the kids. I chose to make my sister Jennifer's Chocolate Croissants. So easy and oh so good.

For those of you who don't know, Jennifer was featured in the May 2008 issue of Real Simple Magazine for this recipe. She's our celebrity!
*Click the magazine link for this delightful recipe (too bad her picture doesn't show up online like it did in the magazine)

Needless to say, it was a hit with the kids. I typed up the recipe for each of them so they could make them over the holidays and wow their families. They were really excited.

On the home front, I've finally gotten a few more things put away. My dream would be to walk in one day and find that Nate Berkus has decorated our apartment.

However, if I really do want to use my Nate Berkus dream, I guess I'd better wait until we have a home. I don't want to waste it.

That is so cool! A food celebrity ~ That is one easy and yummy recipe...I'll have to try it. I get confused on Fridays, thinking it is Saturday because Brad is home on Fridays, working 4-10hr days...
