The Angel with the Kitchen Aid

So you won't believe what I received the other day.

A very sweet friend of my sister Natalie's, gave this to me. Never in a million years did I think I would own one of these babies.

A beautiful, cobalt blue Kitchen Aid.

She bought the professional sized one and decided to pass this on to me. She could have easily sold it on Craigs list.

Wow.

I can't believe how easy this makes baking!! Seriously. I've been doing the electric hand mixer...now where are those beaters...digging out a bunch of bowls...all my life. This is revolutionary (and yes, I'm MANY years behind). :)

Many thanks for the incredible generosity of others...and specifically an angel named April.

P.S. Both Rod and I had to speak in church yesterday. Whew! It went well, but we're glad it's over. :)

P.P.S. I stayed up way too late last night looking up things to make with my new sewing machine. I get a little over-eager sometimes...and I don't really know where to get started, but watch out, the unleashing is about to begin.

I've decided this ruffly pillow will be my first project because it's pretty. And easy enough that I think even I could make it. (you'll have to click on the image to even see it). I got the idea from http://kellyandolive.blogspot.com
