A day in the sun

So what did I do with my mom all day, out in the beautiful sunshine while my husband was hacking my blog? :)

The morning started out with a 3 mile walk around Greenlake. It was a beautiful day, with lots and lots of people.

Next, lunch at Dukes (known for their clam chowder). I got a caesar salad and cup of clam chowder. It was pretty good, but probably not my all time favorite.

Next we tried to go to the Arboredum in Seattle to see the blossoms, but it was so crowded we ended up leaving...and instead, rounded out the day with a little shopping and pleasant conversation by the water's edge in Madison Park.
