Love o' the Irish

My day started out having to comfort a little girl who was upset because another girl told her she was going to get pinched by a leprechaun in the night. How mean is that? As I sat with her and explained that leprechaun's weren't real, the other child came over saying over and over that leprechaun's were real. She was quite convincing. Soon she even had me wondering if I had to check under my bed tonight.

Besides the creepy leprechaun scare, I had a sweet St. Patrick's Day. For me, it actually ended up being more like Valentine's Day.

A little kindergarten boy, who can often be found clutching my hand or running up behind me wrapping his arms around me, looked up at me with dreamy eyes and said, "Ms Shannon, I fell in love with you." I looked at him with a surprised smile as he continued..."Cupid hit me with his arrow and I fell in love with you."

How sweet is that?
When I got home I told Rod. He said Cupid got him too... :)
