And so it begins...the invitro paper trail.
I have two thick files of medical history.
I bet I beat you!
You would think I'd know my medical history by heart at this point.
And although I've tried to stay pretty organized, it still seems to take a while to get all the information together finding all the dates, numbers, medications, you name it.
And of course, the female portion of the paperwork takes an hour...and the male portion of the paperwork takes 10 minutes. But I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles...speaking of which, I could use a cookie right now. :)
Our appointment is on Friday and we're looking forward to getting things started.
Technically we'll only have a consultation and discuss our plan and/or have a procedure or two, but it's the first step!

I don't remember my paperwork being that ridiculous, although I will echo that my paperwork was a mile long and dan's was only a few inches. It's like they already assume it's the woman's fault. Fun.....
Good luck! At least that part is out of the way and for me that was just as painful as any of the procedures!!
I don't think it has anything to do with who to blame. I think the depth of the work on the women is longer since there are more possible issues that can come up. The male side of things is fairly small in a biological sense.
Good luck, we are all hoping and praying for you.
What a trail....Looks like your journey has begun! You are the most organized person I know...you will be able to tackle this paper demon in no time flat. Good luck!
