Necklace and bow embellished t-shirt

I have seen a lot of t-shirts lately that have a necklace-with-bow connected to the t-shirt. So I decided to try and make myself one.

I have a brown jersey skirt I'm working on refashioning at the moment, and thought this color would look cute with it. (sorry I don't have a before photo and don't feel like taking my shirt apart) :)

I strung my own beads on stretchy cord and finished it by connecting it to a real necklace clasp. I sewed the permanent end of the necklace clasp to the back neckline of the shirt (so it won't sag), which will allow it to be removed for laundering.

I tied the brown bow on the side to bring the outfit together. Once I finish the skirt I'll show you the two together.
