Wire-free

I just got home from getting my heart monitor off. Ouch! Felt like pulling off a whole bunch of really big band-aids. I'm glad to be wire-free. I slept okay, minus the poking electrodes, woke up a few times during the night, but overall not too terrible.

I don't feel like I really had any of my weird symptoms over the last 24 hours...maybe once, or maybe a bunch of phantoms...so I guess we'll see what the report says. Hopefully if there is anything to see, they'll see it.

I'm just glad to be unmonitored at the moment. :)

Tomorrow is the cholesterol clinic where she'll tell me to stop eating so much junk and (while we're on the subject), work that junk off my trunk, if you know what I mean.

I have been hard core on eating healthy since my high c report, so I already feel like I'm improving. I have stopped eating processed sugar and flour, eat whole grains, veggies and fruits, added more good fats (fish, avocado, walnuts, almonds, olive oil, etc.) and cut out saturated fat (although there are still small amounts in some things).

I'm on my way.
