Then we decided to have dinner Peruvian style.

Three cheers for Inka Cola!!To me, it tastes like juicy fruit gum which is actually pretty great. Ah, so refreshing. I felt like I was back in Peru.
And for my main course: Pollo Milanesa. Oh so good.

It came with rice with peas, a little oil/vinegar salad and a few fries. This was a meal I had several times while my family visited Peru for a week.
It takes me right back.
In honor of our Peruvian feast: Peru - December 2001

Dang I love that! I'd give anything for a swig of Inca Cola right now. Baby Alpaca? It's too bad they don't have any Peruvian comida out here in Kentucky. Maybe we should open up a restaurant.
I didn't know you lived in Peru, that is where Joel served his mission, in Arequipa. It is surprising how many Peruvian restaurants there are around here!
Oops - sorry I didn't specify - we were just visiting for a week...we didn't live there.
I didn't know you went to Peru! What a neat experience! We should get together for a girl's day out for a summer festival!
