Days are filled with water activities, games, field trips, etc., and with as hot as it's been lately, by the time I get home at 7pm, I'm pretty much a stale-sun-screen-slathered-vegetable. This morning especially, I feel like I can't seem to get enough sleep to keep up with the momentum of the day.
What can I say, it's hard for a couch potato to get moving again after having a month off! haha.
By the way - totally embarrassing situation - one of the mother's came to pick up their children...and hello, she was in my high school graduating class. :| Luckily she didn't recognize me outside with my sunglasses on.
But it gets better.
I looked on the list to see what her last name is and - turns out she married another guy from my graduating class. Excellent! Double whammy. He came to pick up his daughter yesterday and I saw him from across the room. I kept picturing him in my 7th grade English class...and now he looks like a man. I guess that's what 22 years can do. Wow. That's a lot of years. Dang, does that mean I look that much older too? ha!
Hopefully I won't have any more closer encounters with those two. So far, so good.

thats the crazy part about living where you grew up - you're bound to run into ppl from school. i'm a weirdo and avoid ppl from high school and duck if i ever see them when i'm back at home. hahaha
I just got together with 3 of my original BYU roomies from....uh...25 years ago. It's amazing how much time has passed and how much everyone has experienced.
good thing about living where we do, I don't run into high school folks. i need to lose about 100 pounds before that were to happen!
sounds like you are right back into the swing of things and I love the job you have! i wish I was that kind of teacher! at least you get outside!! love it!
