Day 16 a success!

I would love to do a count-down but since I don't have a set date on anything I figure I'll do a count-up until I know!

Knowing what to expect tonight helped a little with the shot. Rod did a great job and it was better than last night. One day closer!

I emailed the nurse today in order to find out what exact dates Rod needs to request off for the egg retrieval and embryo transfers and found out some new info.

The nurse said only about 50% of women are ready on the egg retrieval target date (ours is tentatively scheduled for Thur., Dec. 4th). So the retrieval date isn't totally set. However, once everything's a go to take the "trigger" shot (that prepares the eggs for release) the egg retrieval will be 2 days later. So at that point we'll have a more accurate schedule.

The embryo transfer date, tentatively scheduled for Dec. 6th or 8th, will be shifted according to the retrieval date.

I hope that makes sense. I just keep it simple in my head and know it's the first 2 weeks in December that all the exciting things are happening...and I'll be ready when it's time. :)

P.S. Rod and I may try to go see Twilight tomorrow night. We tried Saturday afternoon but it was sold out so we saw the new James Bond. By the way, we missed the first 5 minutes of the show (HUGE pet peeve of mine). Can anyone tell me what happened? We just saw the end of a car chase but didn't understand where/why it had started in the first place.

Sounds like it's going well! We are still keeping our fingers, toes, hair and anything else crossed for you!
How was James Bond? We want to see it?
Good luck with TWILIGHT! I saw it at midnight opening night and am planning on going again this weekend! Have fun!!!

Basically with James bond, you only missed the sweet car chase. It kind of just started like that. Random, but superb.
