I had a blood test and ultrasound again this morning. She said everything looks good, but because I'm stimulating ("stimming") so quickly they want to see me every day. What fun! I go in again for a blood test and ultrasound tomorrow morning at 10:15am, before church.
She saw 13 follicles in my right ovary (almost doubled from yesterday) and 5 in my left (1-2 more than yesterday). She said it's normal for one side to produce a lot more than the other.
The nurse said it's fine that I'm going quickly, but they like to see someone on the stim meds for at least 8 days before retrieval and last night I only finished day 6. She said they'll try to "hold" me for a couple days by dropping the dosages, but I'll find out if my meds change later today when the blood results come back.
Speaking of my blood draw...
Blood draw take one:
Enter: quivering intern
Me: I actually have to have a nurse draw my blood because it's too difficult for people to find my veins.
Her: Oh let me look at your veins for fun. [me: (in my head) did she just say fun?] (flips my arm over, then looks at my hand). Hmmm. (Giggles nervously). Yah, I'll go get the nurse.
Me: (in my head) Good Plan. Hallelujah!!!
Head nurse draws blood from the front of my wrist successfully on the first poke. They're running out of new places to stab me!
P.S. By the way, the wand ultrasound??...not so much. I guess I need to remind them that it's not an Atari controller.
Stay tuned!

ROFL...You really have a way with words! I'm glad you're blogging! Do you get to miss church? JK
Do you feel like a sieve after all that poking and stabbing?
Haha, I love Frogger! Well, not your twisted edition of Frogger... that's just awkward.
