Good news!!

We finally got my blood test results back after waiting ALL DAY LONG!!! Talk about stress!

Anyway, for the first time since this all began, my HCG level doubled normally over a 3 day period (from 184 to 391)! Woohoo! Although my levels are low compared to the average (which doesn't necessarily mean anything) it doubled normally, so we are thrilled.

The next step is tomorrow. I go in for an ultrasound at 12:15pm to see if the baby implanted in my uterus. This nurse told me I will be 6 weeks tomorrow (different than what I heard previously, but okay) and said ectopic pregnancies get scary at 6 weeks or more so they have to rule it out now.

I don't know if it will be too early to see the sac or hear a heartbeat, but I at least hope to see the sac in my uterus. If they don't see a heartbeat, I'll just assume it's too early and wait a few more weeks. I'm mean hey, what's waiting a few more weeks, huh?? :)

This is a total answer to many prayers and we feel so blessed and are so happy for the jump my HCG levels made. This baby is bound and determined to stay!
