I had another blood draw this morning.
My HCG levels are still rising, but they are still not rising like they should be.
My number went from 70 up to 184, which is a little more than double, however, they expected the number to quadruple instead of only double. It is still much lower than they anticipated.
I go back in on Monday for another draw, to see how much it goes up over a 72 hour period.
Again, the nurse said either 1. everything is okay and it is just a "slow riser", 2. it is an ectopic pregnancy that has either attached to a tube or other non-uterine location, or 3. it is an impending miscarriage.
I don't have any symptoms of ectopic, so I'm still going to assume everything will be okay until there is evidence showing otherwise.
I'm just afraid we're in for a few more weeks of this same scenario. But if we end up with a healthy baby, we'll do whatever we have to!

Keep being positive.....If I were you I wouldn't love the dumb blood draws every 2 minutes...I know how fun that is since I also have to get it drawn from my hand.
