So I finally heard back from the nurse. It took forever to get these results due to their "Christmas shindig" as the receptionist put it. Not so happy about that.
Anyway, the results are still mixed, unfortunately.
The good news is that my HCG level did rise. However, they were hoping it would have doubled (92) but instead it only climbed to 70.
She said we should still be "guarded". They'll keep watching the levels and hope they continue to rise and then we wait and watch. She is worried about the possibility of a tubal pregnancy due to the numbers. I don't have any symptoms though (spotting and pain) so I'm hopeful that's not the case.
I go back Friday, 12/26 at 9am for a blood test. They may do an ultrasound at that point too, but may choose to wait until Monday. I have to be 5 weeks along by the time the ultrasound would show anything and on Friday it would be exactly 5 weeks. They may wait just to be sure.

Pregnant!!! That's good news. Keep a low profile and don't do anything major. We are praying for you guys!!!
Slow and steady wins the race...sounds like good news so far, so I'm pinning my hopes on that!
