Little pre-surgery update...
The midnight shot went very smoothly! Rod rolled out of bed, gave me the shot, and rolled back in. :) I was too crazy to sleep before hand, so I stayed up and watched The Notebook that I had taped off t.v. a few weeks ago. I love that movie. It was a great distraction.
At noon today I took the required pregnancy test to make sure the midnight shot is doing what it needs to do and it came out *positive* which means we're right on track for tomorrow!
I'm feeling a little crowded in my abdomen...my ovaries are pretty stuffed. I've only had a little bit of pain, just mainly feeling pretty full in there. Time for the crowd to exit stage left!
A good friend of mine that I'm serving with in the primary presidency is bringing me homemade soup and corn bread tomorrow after I get home. She is wonderful. I'm so blessed with good friends!

Yay!!! I'm all excited again! Notebook is a good movie; glad that was a welcome distraction! Nothing beats homemade soup and cornbread...yum! Good luck!
Hey Shannon, I have been reading your blog from across the world...feeling your pain about blood draws. I have the same tiny veins and they always draw from my hand only AFTER they try 3 other spots so I end up with 4 bruises. Good luck with egg retrieval. We are leaving tonight to come home to the US...will keep you in my prayers all night on the plane.
